Black Sunflex sliding doors in Liverpool new extension
Our brand new range of Sunflex SVG 30 sliding doors is the latest product in our overall range of contemporary sliding doors for the home. Slim, highly engineered and expertly-crafted, these doors guarantee to transform a new extension such as this to a Liverpool family home.
Supplied in a three panel design, one of the best features of these doors is their design. Â The most noticeable is the slim 30mm mullion, providing larger glass panels and better views than other doors with a thicker mullion.
Another great feature of these doors is how they stack neatly in the open position. Â Most other doors on the market stack open but project quite far given the location of the handles. Sunflex SVG30 sliding patio doors are designed differently. Â Open the doors fully, and you’ll immediately notice that they stack neater, tighter and look much better open. Â Also available with our sliding doors, should you want it, is the sought-after low threshold. Â As a result, these doors provide that lovely seamless transition from inside to outside with a reduced step-over.
For us, its the minimal proportions of these doors that make them great in a new extension. Â Many other slimline sliding doors with a similar mullion rely on extra reinforcing. Â You notice this more in the ultra-slim doors. They look slim when viewed straight on. Â However, when looked at from an angle, you’ll see how deep they project into your room. Â Sunflex doors give you all the thin lines of these more expensive doors but with substantially less bulk.

These particular doors come as a straight sliding option with a contemporary pull/push handle and separate lock. However, they also come in a lift and slide option. Lift and slide doors use a rotating handle. In the closed position, rotating the handle lifts the door panel, and you slide it open. Â By far the best feature of a lift and slide is a locked-open facility. Open the door, rotate the handle in reverse and watch the door set down and secure. An excellent feature for having your door slightly open for ventilation without anyone being able to open it from outside.
